No matter the legal issue, Erin brings a fresh focus and creativity to achieve her clients’ individual litigation goals. Known for her thorough attention to detail, Erin knows her clients’ cases inside and out.

Erin represents individuals and businesses in matters including complex class actions, breach of contract, business tort claims, constitutional disputes, Section 1983 cases, employment, and non-competition/non-solicitation disputes.

A well-rounded litigator, Erin takes on every aspect of her cases from start to finish. she has participated in several trials in which she conducted direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses. She conducts legal research and analysis, takes and defends depositions, and drafts legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Erin also manages cases where she oversees the progress of the case, communicates with the client, develops strategy, and represents the client at hearings and other legal proceedings. Her strong work ethic and calm approach, combined with her sharp legal thinking, make her an effective case leader who succeeds in providing her clients with a positive litigation experience at every step of the way.

Prior to joining Markowitz Herbold, Erin practiced at a regional firm focused on insurance recovery, complex commercial litigation, and business transactions. She also clerked for Oregon Supreme Court Justice and former Markowitz Herbold Shareholder, the Hon. Lynn Nakamoto, as well as the Oregon Tax Court, Magistrate Division. During law school, Erin externed for the Hon. Thomas Balmer of the Oregon Supreme Court.
