Shannon Riordan Armstrong Joins Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf

Portland, Ore. -- Portland business litigation firm Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf, PC announced today that litigator Shannon Riordan Armstrong has joined the firm as an associate. Her practice will focus on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on breach of contract, partnership disputes, securities litigation and other business matters. Armstrong is the fourth new attorney the firm has added since January.

Most recently, Armstrong practiced trial law at a white collar criminal defense firm, where she represented individuals and corporations in criminal and regulatory proceedings. Shannon effectively negotiated settlements in regulatory and criminal actions including pre-indictment resolutions.

Armstrong began her career as a law clerk for the Honorable Melvin Brunetti at the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Reno, Nevada, and then moved to Portland where she clerked for the Honorable Ancer L. Haggerty at the U.S. District Court, District of Oregon.

Armstrong graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2005 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oregon in political science.
