Portland, Ore. -- Lynn Nakamoto, managing shareholder of Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf, was quoted in a
Portland Business Journal article on legal outsourcing to India.
In the news article "Law Firms Go East", reporter Andy Giegerich interviewed Nakamoto about the growing national trend of outsourcing low-level legal work to India.
"We've received solicitations directly from companies in India about this, but it would be hard to go out on a limb and accept their offer," said Nakamoto. "I can understand why some lawyers might use them to help with large discovery matters, but we've not done that."
