Anit Jindal Receives “40 Under 40” Award

Portland litigation firm Markowitz Herbold PC is pleased to announce that Anit Jindal, a shareholder with the firm, has been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as one of the top forty young leaders in the business community.

The “40 Under 40” is an annual listing of Portland’s top forty business elite under the age of 40. Recipients are honored for their high level of professional achievement and leadership in the community.

Jindal represents clients in complex litigation in state and federal courts. His clients include utilities, government entities, startups, and Fortune 500 companies. He is the chair of the firm's Appellate Practice Group and  his work has been quoted by the United States Supreme Court and covered by the New York Times. 

Jindal is active in the community, volunteering his time to several local non-profit groups. He is a member of the board of directors at DoveLewis, a non-profit animal hospital voted the best veterinary practice in Portland. Jindal is also a board member of the Multnomah Bar Foundation, which funds and administers CourtCare a free drop-in childcare program at the Multnomah County Central Courthouse. Jindal is a board member of the St. Andrew’s Legal Clinic, which provides low-cost family law attorneys to individuals who could not otherwise afford them. In 2023, he received the Amicus Service Award from the International Municipal Attorney’s Association and is the Treasurer of the Appellate Practice Section of the Oregon State Bar.
