Portland business litigation firm Markowitz Herbold PC announced today that experienced trial lawyers Kyle Busse and Bryana Blessinger have joined the firm as Of Counsel.
Busse is one of the leading employment attorneys in Oregon. Before joining Markowitz Herbold, he was a managing partner of a premier employment litigation firm. Busse will continue to handle employment cases, representing both employees and employers, and he will expand his practice to include complex commercial litigation.
Busse has nearly 13 years of experience litigating all manner of employment-related cases, from individual discrimination suits to thousand-member wage and hour class actions. His broad state and federal practice has involved claims for whistleblower retaliation, race discrimination, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, medical leave interference, wrongful discharge, fraud, and discrimination in places of public accommodation.
Blessinger is a trial lawyer with more courtroom experience than most attorneys of her tenure. She has successfully tried more than 30 jury and bench trials to verdict during her career.
Blessinger handles complex litigation cases in Oregon and Washington, including partnership and shareholder disputes, business torts, product liability and warranty claims, breach of contract matters, class actions, professional malpractice actions, and employment law matters. Blessinger also brings years of first- and third-party insurance coverage experience, including extensive knowledge of extra-contractual bad faith, property loss, directors and officers, professional negligence, product defect, and crime coverage claims.
