Human Resources/Operations Administrator

Markowitz Herbold seeks an experienced Human Resources/Operations Administrator with 5+ years of professional experience.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter and teammate who has experience in day-to-day administration of multi-state payrolls, health and welfare benefit plans, retirement plans, and progressively responsible duties in human resources and operations/facilities management. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, functioning as a highly effective teammate, and building rapport with employees at all levels.

This position requires a strong understanding of payroll principles, laws, and regulations in Oregon and preferably multi-state (Washington and/or New York a plus); and a strong understanding of laws and regulations in employment, employee benefits, and retirement plans. Law firm or other professional services experience desirable; certifications in payroll or human resources/benefits a plus. Excel experience required.
