Jordan Elizabeth Pahl is an associate who recently joined us following a one-year clerkship for Judge Michael Simon in the U.S. District Court of Oregon. Prior to her time with Judge Simon, she clerked for Justice Thomas Balmer of the Oregon Supreme Court for two years.
Jordan received her J.D. and Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington. While in law school, Jordan served as Chief Comments Editor of the Washington International Law Journal and was a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. Jordan also served as the co-captain of UW’s New York Bar National Moot Court Team.
During law school, Jordan served as a legal extern for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington, D.C., where she previously worked as a legislative intern for Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) as an undergraduate.
Jordan earned her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and was awarded a Fulbright-Hays grant to study at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia, and was a Foreign Language and Area Studies Undergraduate Fellow.
