Stone Receives Attorney on the Rise Award from OADC

Portland litigation firm Markowitz Herbold PC is pleased to announce that attorney April Stone will be honored with the “Attorney on the Rise” award at the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel’s (OADC) Annual Conference in June.

OADC’s "Attorney on the Rise" award is presented each year to a new or young lawyer with 10 years or less of practice. The recipient must demonstrate outstanding characteristics such as integrity, professionalism, leadership, vision, civility, and a wide range of accomplishments and contributions to the field.

This is Stone’s second achievement this year, receiving the Multnomah Bar Association’s (MBA) Michael E. Haglund Award earlier this month for volunteer legal work that exemplifies the MBA’s mission of service to the community and stewardship of the justice system.
