Ursula Lalovic

Throughout her career, Ursula has consistently demonstrated a relentless drive to refine her expertise and contribute meaningfully to the legal community. She has played a pivotal role in cases ranging from environmental class actions and civil rights lawsuits to regulatory investigations and financial fraud. She thrives under pressure, preparing persuasive legal pleadings and crafting well-supported arguments to drive favorable outcomes for clients. She has also managed key aspects of case preparation for multiple jury trials, including drafting motions, preparing witnesses, and developing exhibits, including a multi-week white-collar criminal trial.

Upon graduating from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Ursula began her career in San Francisco. There, she built a strong foundation across multiple legal disciplines, including securities litigation and broker-dealer arbitration, at one of the city’s top firms before working for a prominent political and government law firm in Oakland. Before joining Markowitz Herbold, Ursula practiced at top litigation boutiques in Portland, where she honed her skills handling high-stakes matters in both state and federal courts and arbitrations.

Admitted to practice in Oregon and California, Ursula combines meticulous legal research with persuasive writing and courtroom presence. She is valued for her ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, compelling arguments—and for her relentless pursuit of excellence on behalf of her clients.
