Varro Clarke

He has experience handling all phases of litigation, including drafting initial pleadings through trial, mediation, and administrative hearings. Varro is skilled at reviewing highly technical and fact-intensive discovery to uncover the narratives that drive cases. He has taken the depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and corporate representatives, including perpetuation depositions in cases with more than $1 billion at stake. 

His litigation background includes regulatory disputes, derivative suits, surety bond litigation, professional liability, shareholder oppression, civil RICO claims, and appeals. In addition to representing individuals and state agencies, Varro also represents businesses in a variety of industries including financial services, public utility, franchise dealership, and importation. Varro also counsels clients on election law and campaign finance compliance.  

Before law school, Varro worked in New Mexico as a strategic communications and government relations consultant for international leaders in the energy, natural resources, and defense industries. He also has experience managing statewide political organizations.
