Representing the Deaf

Emily brings a strong background in public service and maintains an active pro bono caseload. She began her legal career with a national Equal Justice Works fellowship at the Minnesota Disability Law Center to protect and enforce the right to effective communication for deaf and hard of hearing people in the criminal justice system. She received the Legal Advocacy award from Communication Services for the Deaf for her efforts.
