Salerno Owens Named President of the Oregon Federal Bar Association

Portland litigation firm Markowitz Herbold PC announced today that Shareholder Laura Salerno Owens has been named President of the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) for the 2016-17 term.

The FBA is the bridge between the federal bench and the bar in Oregon, and strives to promote professionalism, collegiality, and inclusiveness in the federal legal community.  The Oregon Chapter, which has nearly 350 members, is one of the largest federal bar associations in the country. Its membership reflects all facets of the federal legal community, and includes judges, academics, and civil and criminal practitioners.

 Salerno Owens is a trial lawyer that represents clients with a variety of employment law issues including noncompetition/nonsolicitation agreements and trade secrets, wage and hour disputes, discrimination charges, sexual harassment allegations, and whistleblower claims.
